Design Challenge: This week, fifth graders worked on a “house building” project in Math class.  Students were given parameters and an $80,000 budget to design a blueprint and begin model construction.  We will continue working on this project through next week.  Students will be given individual participation grades and an overall grade on this project on how well the group completed this project.  Students should be bringing in ads from the newspaper to help “furnish” their homes.
